Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

* Work 4x10 shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* 40 guaranteed hours per week
* Weekend coverage required
* On-call required with 14-15 days of call in a 6-week period
* Weekday call hours are 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM; weekend call runs from 5:30 PM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday on a rotating basis per call team
* Must live within a 30-minute radius of the hospital while on call; no on-site call accommodations available
* 2 years of experience required; travel experience required
* Strong Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, RCIS with IR Tech experience, ARRT R
* Perform procedures including cardiac catheterization with and without intervention, STEMI response, vascular procedures (port placement, thrombectomy, peripheral vascular), cardiac rhythm procedures (temporary/permanent device implantation, cardioversion/TEE, EP studies), and pain management procedures (RF ablation, steroid injections)
* Operate Philips and Siemens fluoroscopy suites, Philips ISVC PACS, Philips Xper hemodynamics, and Maquet IABP equipment
* Work across 4 procedure rooms handling caths, devices (ICDs, pacemakers, Linqs), pain procedures, EP studies with ablations, and peripheral vascular angiography
* Facility averages 280 cases per month with 8-12 STEMIs monthly
* Patient teams consist of 2-3 teams of four during the day with a team of 4 on call
* Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
* Preferred skills include pacemaker experience, obtaining vitals, rhythm interpretation, and sinus node rhythms
* Charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* 1 approved request for time off permitted; must be submitted at time of presentation

This facility features a comprehensive procedural Cath Lab environment equipped with state-of-the-art fluoroscopy suites and advanced hemodynamic monitoring systems. The unit supports a high volume of cardiac, vascular, and pain management cases and is staffed with dedicated STEMI response teams available around the clock. Interdisciplinary support services include physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and more to ensure comprehensive patient care.
