Job Details:
* Work 4x10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM at Main location
* Holiday rotation required
* No on-call required
* Floating required to sister facilities and rotating through all buildings as needed
* Expected to attend all staff meetings
* Guaranteed hours subject to facility calling off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* 40 orientation hours required
* Minimum 1 year of experience preferred; 6 months Level 1 Trauma experience required
* First-time travelers accepted with previous experience
* Level 1 Trauma experience required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Siemens equipment experience required, including Siemens Force, Go.Top, and Somatom Definition
* Peripheral IV (PIV) experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT RT (R)(CT), and SCRQSA (R)(CT), South Carolina license
* Radiation badge must be supplied by agency
* Scrub color: Teal top and black bottom
* Parking pass available for a one-time payment of $20 for nights and weekends
* Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Perform CT imaging including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and soft tissue neck studies
* Conduct advanced imaging procedures including brain perfusion, coronary CTA, vascular CTA, and musculoskeletal trauma studies
* Perform multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), 3D rendering, and region of interest (ROI) measurements
* Prepare and administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs
* Support Level 1 Trauma, Comprehensive Stroke Center, outpatient, cardiac, and Interventional Radiology procedures
* IR/Angio/Special procedures experience preferred, including biopsies and drainage
* Adhere to radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE protocols
Facility:
This facility is a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center teaching hospital with 865 staffed beds. The facility operates a high-volume imaging department with a daily census of 130 and three CT rooms equipped with advanced Siemens technology. In addition to trauma and stroke care, the facility supports routine studies, outpatient imaging, cardiac procedures, and Interventional Radiology services.
