Open Position: RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech

Job Details:

* Minimum 3 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* On-call required: weeknights approximately 1-2 nights per week and approximately every 5th weekend rotating between two locations
* Weekend requirement: call only
* Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13-week contract
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Daytime patient ratio: 2 patients
* Floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed; will also assist in X-ray when Interventional Radiology is not busy
* Must have Kansas License (LRT) in hand at time of submission
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT R, ARRT VI (preferred)
* Epic EMR charting system experience required
* Must be proficient with GE Innova IGS equipment and PACS
* Required skills include: Interventional Radiology, Special Procedures, Aortography, Chest Tube Placement, Embolization, Gastrostomy Tube Placement, IVC filter placement and removal, Liver Biopsy, Mesenteric Angiogram, Paracentesis, Pelvic Angiography, Pulmonary Arteriography, Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) of the liver, Renal Angiography, Stent Placement, Central Venous Access/Port Placement, PICC Line Care and Maintenance, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography, Nephrostomy, Uterine Arterial Embolization, Vertebroplasty, and Sterile Technique
* Additional responsibilities include equipment setup, prepping access sites, room circulator duties, scrub and sterile field maintenance, and use of isolation precautions/PPE
* Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Transportation
