Job Details:

* 5x8 hour shifts working days and evenings as needed
* Will work every weekend
* Required to float between two locations: one in CT and one in RI
* Candidate must obtain both state licenses (CT and RI) and can start with whichever one issues first while the other is pending
* Minimum 1.5 years of hospital experience required; 2 years preferred
* GE and Siemens equipment experience required
* GE Optima CT660 Scanner experience
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS, RI and CT licenses
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Patient age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Patient ratio: 2 patients on nights and weekends
* Skilled procedures include: 3D rendering, abdomen with/without contrast, chest with/without contrast, head with/without contrast, coronary CTA, carotid, cervical, CT arthrography, enterography, musculoskeletal trauma, multiplanar reconstruction, vascular CTA, venipuncture, starting peripheral IVs, and preparation/administration of contrast media
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
* Special equipment includes ceiling Hoyer lift
* Facility serves as a Stroke Center and Trauma Center

This short-term acute care Level III trauma center operates 252 staffed beds and serves as part of a larger regional health system. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including radiology, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. The organization maintains modern imaging technology and supports a wide range of specialized CT procedures across multiple campus locations, offering free parking for staff.
