Opportunity:

RN - OR Circulator

Job Details:

* 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM with night and weekend call rotation
* 1 weekend required every 4-6 weeks
* On-call requirement of 1-2 days per week on a rotating schedule with all circulators
* 1 year of circulator experience required; PACU experience preferred
* Travel experience required
* Epic experience within the last 18 months required and must be detailed on submission profile
* Allscripts charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Active TN or compact license required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS; PALS preferred
* Treats patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* 10 operating rooms available
* 3-4 weekend shifts per contract
* Performs and assists with a wide range of surgical procedures including total joint replacement using Mako Robot, hysterectomy, prostatectomy, and sacrocolpopexy using Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, AAA repair (planned and emergent), urologic procedures using Dornier laser, and various laparoscopic, robotic, orthopedic, and general surgery cases
* Skills required include but are not limited to: wound care, cardiac monitoring, infection control, fire and laser safety, malignant hyperthermia protocols, specimen handling, and universal protocol procedures

Facility:

This healthcare facility features a well-equipped surgical department with 10 operating rooms and advanced surgical technology including the Mako Robotic Surgical System and Da Vinci Xi Surgical System. The facility supports a broad range of surgical specialties including orthopedics, gynecology, urology, vascular, and general surgery, and is equipped to handle both planned and emergent procedures. The surgical team operates with a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to patient care across all age groups.
