Open Position: CT Technologist - CT Tech

Opportunity:

Multimodality Tech (X-Ray & CT) - Hybrid Role (Dual Location)

Job Details:

* Perform CT scan and radiographic exams, producing computerized tomographic scans and diagnostic radiographs of designated anatomical areas according to established practices and procedures
* Obtain patient history, explain routine procedures, and address patient concerns
* Friday shift: 6:30 AM 7:00 PM at main campus in Orangeburg
* Saturday shift: 6:30 AM 7:00 PM at BBMP location
* Sunday shift: 6:30 PM 7:00 AM at BBMP location
* On-call rotation required among staff at BBMP location only; if shifts are not filled when on call, weekend work may be required
* Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Minimum 1 year of experience as a registered Radiological Technologist with Computed Tomography experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: ARRT (R)(CT), SCRQSA (R)(CT), BLS (American Heart Association), CPR
* Must have satisfactorily completed an AMA-approved school of radiological technology and be registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists and licensed by the SC Radiation Quality Standards Association
* Skills required: Adult Acute Care, PACS
* Charting system: Epic
* Dress code: Black pants and teal top
* Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
* Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams

Facility:

This healthcare system includes an acute care hospital main campus as well as a free-standing emergency room location featuring an X-ray room, X-ray portable equipment, and CT capabilities. The free-standing ER operates with 11 beds and staffs one multimodality technologist per 12-hour shift. The organization utilizes Epic for charting and offers free parking for staff and contractors.
