Opportunity:

Special Procedures Technologist - IC, IR, Vascular, Structural Heart, and Neuro

Job Details:

* Support Interventional Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, Structural Heart, and Neuro specialties
* Block scheduling with attempts made to schedule as consistently as possible
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week
* On-call requirements: 8 call days within a 4-week period, 1 call weekend every 3-5 weeks (Friday through Monday)
* 24-hour on-call required on Saturdays and Sundays
* Minimum 2-hour call back required
* Weeknight and weekend call required
* Daily caseload of approximately 15 patients
* May float within the cath lab unit to meet facility needs
* No floating to sister facilities required
* Serves patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Top procedures include: Structural Heart (TAVR, Mitraclip, Watchman), IR, Neuro, Vascular, Cardiac, and EP
* Required skills include: Angioplasty, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, PCI, PTCA, Left and Right Heart Catheterization, Embolization, EVAR, TEVAR, Rotablator Atherectomy, Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy, Carotid Angiography, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography, IABP Placement/Removal, and maintenance of sterile field
* Must be proficient with equipment including: Philips imaging systems, Philips Xper hemo system, Philips IVUS/IFR/FFR, Boston IVUS/IFR/FFR, OCT, Roto, Penumbra, Angiojet, Jetstream, EKOS, and Shockwave
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT (R), BLS, and State License
* Electronic charting experience required
* Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted

This advanced healthcare facility operates a comprehensive cath lab unit with 5 procedural rooms and 220 beds. The facility supports a full range of interventional specialties including structural heart procedures, interventional radiology, neuro, vascular, and cardiac and electrophysiology services. Robust interdisciplinary support is available on-site, including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and more.
