Opportunity:

RN - OR (Pediatric)

Job Details:

* 10-hour day shifts with variable start times of 6:45 AM, 8:45 AM, or 10:45 AM based on department need
* Monday through Friday schedule with occasional weekend shifts
* 1 to 6 weekend shifts per contract
* Ability to float to other UCSF campuses and facilities within a 75+ mile radius as needed
* Minimum 3 years of experience required
* Pediatric General OR experience required
* Ambulatory OR, CVOR, General OR, Pediatric CVOR, and Trauma experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I experience required; Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Teaching hospital experience required
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
* Services include Neurology, Ortho/Spine, Otolaryngology, Urology, Plastics, Ophthalmology, Dental, Cardiac, General Surgery, GI, and Hem/Onc
* Required certifications: California RN License, BSN, BLS, PALS
* CNOR certification preferred

This facility is a dedicated children's hospital featuring 11 surgical suites and 2 procedural rooms. The organization operates with a primary focus on a multidisciplinary team-based approach to patient care and staffing. The facility provides a wide range of pediatric surgical services and is part of a larger university health system with multiple campuses, offering a dynamic and comprehensive clinical environment for healthcare professionals.
