Opportunity:

RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Details:

* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Epic charting system experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate; ACLS preferred
* Staffing ratio of 1:1-3
* Care for patients including adolescents, infants, and adults
* Patient diagnoses include labor and preterm labor with 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
* Perform circulate, OB-GYN, post-op, pre-op, scrub, low risk antepartum, and low risk labor and delivery duties
* Required special procedures include blood and blood products administration, cardioversion and defibrillation, cooling and warming blanket, drains, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, wound vac, heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
* Attend all deliveries including high-risk deliveries
* Support GYN surgeries, couplet care, low risk antepartum, and transition nursery
* Float to post-partum and possibly Labor and Delivery at a sister facility based on skill set
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
* Can request up to 2 major holidays off; required to work 1 of 3 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas/Eve, New Year's/Eve)
