MULTISPECIALTY- 1ST TIMER US Tech/Echo Tech

Job Details:

* Multispecialty position requiring general ultrasound, fetal ultrasound, OB, breast, transvaginal, vascular, echocardiogram, adult echo, contrast echo, and echo stress treadmill experience
* On-call required: 5:00 PM 8:00 AM Monday through Friday, and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday
* Weekends required on-call basis
* Must be flexible with call schedule this is a hard-stop expectation
* Patient ratio of 8:1
* Will assist with precepting clinicians
* No floating between units
* Block schedules not required
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Charting system experience required: Epic
* At least 1 year of experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, and one of the following ARDMS, ARDMS VT, CCI, or RDCS
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Required skills include but are not limited to: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester imaging, abdominal ultrasound, vascular studies, fetal anatomical survey, echocardiography, breast ultrasound, transvaginal imaging, adult echo, contrast echo, and echo stress treadmill
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* 2 professional references required, covering 1 year within the last 3 years
* May be expected to float between nearby sister facilities; refusal to float may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours

Facility:

This short-term acute care facility operates with 49 staffed beds and holds a Level IV Trauma Center designation. The facility provides interdisciplinary support through its radiology department and utilizes Epic as its electronic charting system. The organization maintains a collaborative care environment supporting a wide range of patient age groups from neonates to geriatrics. Free parking is available in any unrestricted space on campus.
