Opportunity:

RT(R) (Cath Lab Tech/CVT)

Job Details:

* Primary shift hours are 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with shift times varying between 6:00 AM?4:30 PM or 7:00 AM?5:30 PM depending on call assignment that evening
* Call responsibilities include 1-2 nights per week and every 4th weekend
* Weekday call runs once per week, end of shift until 7:00 AM the following morning (Monday?Thursday)
* Weekend call runs every 6th weekend, end of shift Friday through Monday at 7:00 AM
* Weekend rotation is call only
* 1 holiday per contract, call only
* 30-minute response time required for call
* 3-person call team consisting of 2 techs and 1 RN
* Rotating day off each week
* Perform approximately 8 cases per day across 2 Cath Labs
* Cath Lab cases include diagnostic/interventional procedures, LHC/RHC, NSTEMI and STEMI, Impella, IABPs, Rotablator, CTOs/staged PCI, shockwave, temporary pacers, peripheral (legs) diagnostic/intervention, and loop recorders
* EP cases include Micra, pacemaker, AICDs, lead extractions/revisions, and generator changes
* Must be able to scrub and operate the table simultaneously
* Monitoring experience preferred
* Possibility of floating to a nearby Cath Lab location approximately 15 minutes away, no more than once per week and with advance notice
* Must assist with transporting own patients who are on tele monitor
* EMR: EPIC
* IV pumps: Alaris
* Medication dispensing: Pyxis
* PACS: Picom
* Hemodynamic system: Merge (experience preferred)
* C-arm: GE Alea (experience not required)
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* Required licensure: ARRT or RCIS License and Washington State License
* Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required for travelers with prior travel experience; first-time travelers must have 2+ years of Cath Lab experience
* Scrubs provided, lead aprons provided (extended sizing available for scrubs but not for lead)
* Free garage parking available
* Must demonstrate a positive attitude, flexibility, and teamwork

Facility:

This facility is a Level III Trauma Center with 375 licensed beds, offering a comprehensive range of cardiac and interventional services. The facility operates two fully equipped Cath Labs and provides robust clinical support including respiratory therapy, hospitalist coverage, intensivists, and cardiologist availability 24/7. Additional support resources include a charge nurse/lead tech, RRT and code team, and a dedicated scheduler to assist with staffing needs.
