Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technician

Job Details:

* Cardiac Cath Lab experience required with Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro experience; must have experience in two of the four modalities
* 36 guaranteed hours per week for 12-hour shifts or 40 guaranteed hours per week for 8/10-hour shifts
* Weekend schedule can be discussed with manager
* Call requirement based on unit need and will be discussed with nurse manager - no set call schedule
* Will float within scope to meet facility needs, including floating to all three sister hospitals within 20 miles
* Minimum 18 months of experience in specialty required; 2 years preferred
* Must work with EPIC charting system
* Scrub color: Ceil Blue
* Free parking available in any unrestricted space
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of candidacy submission - RTO added later will likely not be approved
* Block scheduling is not available
* Local candidates accepted at the same rate
* Pending licenses are not accepted
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R, CCI RCIS; RCVT and RCIS also preferred
* Key skills include: angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, vascular closure systems, endovascular interventions, scrub maintenance of sterile field, and room circulator duties
* Time-sensitive modules must be prioritized and completed prior to start date
* EKG and Pharmacology tests required during orientation with a maximum of two attempts each
* Nicotine-free candidates required; negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required

This short-term acute care facility features 180 staffed beds and utilizes EPIC for charting. The facility maintains a smoke-free environment and enforces a strict attendance policy. The organization operates across multiple hospital locations within close proximity, providing a collaborative and well-supported clinical environment with access to a broad range of cardiovascular and interventional procedures.
