Labor and Delivery Nights

Job Details:

* Night shift position in Labor and Delivery
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery specialty required
* California nursing license required - must be in hand prior to submission, no EMSA accepted
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, AWHONN Advanced, C-EFM (preferred), FHM (preferred)
* Charting system: Paragon - training will be provided
* Skills required include: Labor and Delivery, Antepartum, High Risk Antepartum, LDRP, Level I Nursery, and Mother/Baby experience
* Facility delivers between 100-300 births per month
* Local travelers accepted
* No floating required for L&D agency staff
* Must complete Assaultive Behavior and Fire Card courses onsite within 30 days of start date
* Any requested time off must be submitted at time of presentation - time off requests submitted after offer will not be approved
* DUI background hits will not be accepted

Facility:

This facility is a busy Labor and Delivery unit supporting between 100 to 300 births per month, offering a dynamic and high-volume environment for experienced L&D nurses. The unit provides comprehensive maternal and newborn care services, including antepartum, high-risk antepartum, LDRP, Level I nursery, and mother/baby care. The facility uses Paragon as its charting system and provides training to support a smooth onboarding experience.
