CT Technologist
Job Details:
* Wednesday and Thursday shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM; Friday through Sunday shifts from 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM
* Every weekend required with approximately 4 weekend shifts per contract
* No on-call requirements
* Block scheduling not available
* Overnight weekend position is currently open with flexibility on the remaining two days
* Daily caseload of 50 patients across 2 rooms
* Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Float within radiology department or to an affiliate hospital nearby may be required
* Work setting experience required: Outpatient, Inpatient, OR, ER, and Community Hospital
* Cannon CT System experience required
* CT procedures experience required: abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and CTAs
* General skills experience required: PACS and Epic/Excellian charting system
* General skills experience preferred: IV Starts
* Equipment/scanner experience preferred: Toshiba and Philips
* Skills include 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, brain perfusion, vascular CTA, myelography, radiation safety, and preparation and administration of contrast media
* Treats patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Minimum 1 year of experience in CT required; 2 years preferred
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: ARRT (R) and BLS
* 1 supervisor reference minimum required at time of submission
* 16 orientation hours provided
