Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Work in a 29-bed Birthing Center Labor & Delivery unit
* Night shift staffing includes 1 CNC/charge nurse and 2-3 RNs
* Patient ratios of 4-6:1
* Utilize Welch Allen vitals machines, CPN monitors, and POC glucose monitoring equipment
* Document using Meditech and CPN EMR systems
* Must follow HCA ICARE standards of behavior
* Perform and assist with post-operative gynecological surgeries, urogynecology surgeries, ectopic pregnancies, and high-risk pregnancies requiring hospitalization including PPROM, preeclampsia, previa, and PTL
* Provide care for fetal monitoring (NSTs), GYN oncology post-op, women's health med-surg, post-partum NICU moms, and readmitted post-partum complications
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care postpartum experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and NRP
* OB experience, med-surg experience, and GYN experience preferred
* Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to stay busy in a fast-paced environment required

The unit provides advanced care for both routine and high-risk pregnancies, as well as gynecological and urogynecological surgical services. The facility is equipped with modern technology and staffed by an experienced team committed to delivering high-quality patient care for women at all stages of their health journey.
