Opportunity:

RN - IMU

Job Details:

* 12-hour day shifts with weekends as scheduled
* Every other weekend requirement
* Holiday schedule equating to approximately every other holiday
* No call or standby requirement
* 18-bed Intermediate Care Unit with 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratios
* One PCT available per shift
* Titrate drips including Nitroglycerin up to 150mcg/kg/min, Neo up to 100mcg/min, and Cardene up to 10mg/hr
* Monitor and read telemetry strips for all patients
* Operate BiPap and CPAP equipment
* Float as needed (PRN)
* Charting via EPIC
* Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week contract
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Royal scrubs required; undershirts must be white, royal blue, or black
* BSN not required
* Valid nursing license required for submission

Facility:

This acute care facility operates an 18-bed Intermediate Medical Unit providing specialized step-down level care. The unit manages complex patient populations including post-MI with sheath pulls, ADHF, post-operative vascular cases, GI bleeds, and DKA. The facility provides strong nursing support with both charge nurses and house supervisors available, and maintains a fully telemetry-monitored unit environment.
