Opportunity:

Sterile Processing Tech

Job Details:

* Work 9-hour shifts, Friday through Monday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
* No on-call responsibilities required
* Minimum 1 year of experience required, with preference for 2 years of experience
* Required certifications: CBSPD or CRCST (through HSPA, formerly IAHCSMM)
* EPIC charting system experience required
* Must be proficient in cleaning equipment including crash carts, IV pumps, and PCA pumps
* Must be experienced in High-Level Disinfection (HLD) and use of washers/sterilizers
* Must be knowledgeable in case cart procedures and proper selection of wrapping materials
* Must be proficient in sterilization wrapping procedures and sets/trays assembly
* Must have experience with equipment documentation and biological/chemical indicators
* Must be skilled in steam sterilization testing/monitoring and immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS)
* Must have experience in surgical specialties including Ear/Nose/Throat, General, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Plastics, and Urology
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of submittal
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility
* 2 professional references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
