Opportunity:

3 Day 0900-2130

Job Details:

* 12-hour day shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM
* 3 days per week schedule
* Weekend shifts required to meet staffing needs
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* Float required between Santa Rosa and Petaluma locations
* Average daily census of 65 patients
* Patient ratios of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Minimum 1.5 years of experience required
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience required
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* California state license required; compact license must be in hand at submission, pending license not accepted
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
* Charting system experience required; any system accepted
* Required skills: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, central line care and management, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, BiPAP/CPAP management, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), care of ventilated patients, isolation precautions/PPE, and triage
* Scrub color: royal blue
* First-time travelers accepted
* Pre-approved time off: up to 7 days; all RTO must be requested upfront during submittal
* 2 professional references required covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
