Job Details:
* Shifts are open at this time - flexible scheduling available based on clinician preference
* Mandatory call required including one night of call per week and one weekend of call per month
* Call response time is 30 minutes (housing available on-site if needed when on call)
* Holiday call coverage required as needed
* 13-week contracts or longer available; open to direct hire and permanent opportunities
* Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week assignment and 1 shift for assignments less than 13 weeks
* One week of unit orientation provided; onboarding begins at primary site before transitioning to secondary location
* May be required to float within other services of the OR
* Common cases include cardiac surgery (CABG, valve repair/replacement open and robotic, ECMO, transplant), thoracic surgery (robotic, endoscopic, and open procedures such as lung resection, VATS, esophagostomy, POEM, hiatal hernia repair, mediport, EGD, and GI/respiratory stents), and vascular surgery (diagnostic angiography, percutaneous interventions, surgical endarterectomy, dialysis access management, AAA repair open and endovascular, visceral arterial repair/intervention, and amputation)
* Charge person present each day in the OR
* Scrub color: Ceil blue surgical scrubs (hospital provided)
* Charting system: EPIC
* Must have experience in cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery; travel experience strongly preferred
* No new travelers or new clinicians will be considered
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
