Job Details:

* 12-hour shifts beginning at 6:45 AM, with occasional float to 8:45 AM and 10:45 AM start times
* Must work 3 night shifts per assignment
* Weekend coverage as needed
* On-call requirements as needed, approximately 3 shifts per 8-week schedule period
* 13-week contract length
* Float may be required to other OR units within the health system
* Minimum 3 years of OR experience required
* Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Center experience required - hard stop
* Travel experience required - no first-time travelers accepted
* Epic charting system experience required - hard stop
* 1:1 patient ratio
* Cases include General, GU/GYN, Neuro, ENT, and Plastics - hard stops
* Must be able to circulate emergent craniotomy
* Experience scrubbing spine from a Level 1 Trauma Center strongly preferred
* Helpful experience includes CT, TX, burn, ortho, sports medicine, hand/foot/ankle, and vascular
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, Colorado RN License or Compact RN License
* Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract
* RTO not allowed during the following blackout periods: June 28 July 9, 2026; September 2 September 12, 2026; October 25 November 4, 2026; November 22 December 2, 2026; December 20 January 3, 2027

Facility:

This facility is a major Level 1 Trauma Center operating 41 operating rooms and serving a daily census of 90 to 110 patients. The unit handles a wide range of complex surgical procedures including general surgery, genitourinary and gynecological procedures, neurosurgery, ENT, and plastics. Interdisciplinary support services include respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and patient transportation.
