Opportunity:

RN - Labor and Delivery/Birth Center

Job Details:

* Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on various days of the week
* Weekend shifts required per unit needs with 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
* On-call required 1 day every 6 weeks
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted if experience requirements are met
* Float coverage open across North region within Women & Infant service line
* Care for patient age groups including neonates and adults
* Charting system: EPIC
* 15 total staffed beds on unit
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS (AHA), AWHONN Intermediate, C-EFM
* Required skills: Labor & Delivery, Level I Nursery, Mother/Baby
* Scrubs provided by facility

This healthcare facility operates a dedicated Labor and Delivery and Birth Center unit with 15 staffed beds, providing comprehensive care for mothers and newborns. The unit is supported by a robust interdisciplinary team including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes. The facility utilizes EPIC for charting and maintains a collaborative care environment across its Women and Infant service line.
