Open Position: RN - OR ICU/SICU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1772.20

Opportunity:

RN - MSICU

Job Details:

* 13-week assignment
* 12-hour shifts available as day shift (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) or night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
* Rotating weekend schedule required
* No on-call requirements
* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* Minimum 2-3 years or more of ICU experience required
* MICU and MSICU background preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Certification
* Active Texas RN license required - temporary licenses will not be accepted
* Meditech documentation system used for charting and order entry (preferred experience)
* Perform procedures including chest tubes, trachs, GI scopes, intubations, central lines, art lines, NG tubes, Foley catheters, and dressing changes
* Strong critical thinking skills required
* All travelers are required to float per facility floating policy
* Must badge in and out for each shift and take a full 30-minute lunch break
* Clock-in time is 6:38 AM/PM; after 6:45 AM/PM is considered tardy
* Dress code: Navy scrub top and pants, navy or white scrub jacket for RNs
* Hair must be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors; beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed
* Tattoos must be covered whenever possible
* Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
* Nails must be clean and healthy
