Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Every other weekend (EOW) required
* 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule
* No call or standby requirement
* Candidates must be flexible with scheduling - no self-scheduling
* Must be open to floating - first to float out depending on competency
* Unit orientation consists of 2-3 shifts with preceptors
* Work in a busy, high-acuity cardiovascular ICU with 8A (12 beds) and 8B (13 beds)
* Patient ratios of 1:2 and occasionally 1:1
* Care for heart and lung transplant patients, LVAD patients (C8A), and ACB and valve surgery patients (C8B)
* Must be able to titrate all vasoactive drips for cardiac patients
* Work with devices including LVAD, CRRT/SLED, Impella, and IABP
* Intensivist model with respiratory therapy assigned to unit 24/7
* Hardwire monitoring in use on the unit
* 3+ years of ICU experience preferred, with previous travel experience and background in a busy hospital setting strongly preferred
* CRRT preferred but training is available
* EPIC charting system required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Dress code: Teal scrubs
* Daily parking available on and off campus ranging from $95 - $120 per month with a monthly pass
