Clinical Laboratory Scientist

Job Details:

* Evening shift starting at 1:00 PM, 8-hour shift with potential to extend until 10:00 PM
* No on-call responsibilities
* Perform laboratory analysis on clinical specimens using established laboratory procedures
* Review and evaluate quality controls, specimen integrity, and instrumentation to ensure accurate results are reported
* BS or BA in Medical Technology or related sciences required
* Minimum of two years of experience in all aspects of the clinical laboratory required
* Must hold a current Clinical Laboratory Scientist license from the State of California
* EPIC experience required
* Wellsky experience highly preferred
* Current BLS certification required
* Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
* Must be able to handle stressful work situations and multi-task effectively
* Strong communication and diplomatic skills required
* Equipment used includes usual laboratory equipment and instrumentation, electronic devices, and general office equipment including computer, printer, calculator, and copy machine
* Must conform with all HIPAA and other confidentiality regulations
