Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

* Varied 12-hour day shift times: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, or 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
* On-call only for nights and weekends - one night per week and two weekends required during 13-week contract
* Block scheduling is not available
* Night shift PACU is closed with on-call coverage provided by 2 PACU nurses
* Patient ratio of 1:2
* Unit located on the 2nd floor of the main hospital, adjacent to the OR
* 26-bed PACU unit
* Perform post-anesthesia care for patients undergoing general, neuro, oncology, orthopedic, vascular, and all types of surgical procedures
* Float to Day Surgery as needed
* ICU and/or PACU experience required
* EMR system: Meditech
* ACLS certification required
* Follow ASPAN guidelines
* Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs or hospital-provided scrubs
* Ideal candidate is easy-going and pleasant

The facility is equipped with modern technology and is staffed by an experienced and highly regarded team. The unit handles a wide variety of surgical cases including general, neurological, oncological, orthopedic, and vascular procedures, providing a dynamic and rewarding clinical environment.
