RN - GynOnc Infusion

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday clinic schedule with no weekends and no major holidays
* Work in a 16-chair infusion unit with a 4:1 patient-to-chair ratio
* No unit secretaries or techs available on unit
* Utilize Alaris Pumps for patient care
* Document using MediTech Expanse system
* May float to TCT Infusion (Department 716) with orientation provided prior to floating
* Chemotherapy patient experience required
* Chemo Certification by ONS provider required
* Perform port-a-cath access using sterile technique
* Obtain peripheral venous access
* Administer chemotherapy treatments
* Provide IV hydration and electrolyte repletion
* Obtain height, weight, and vital signs
* Draw labs using central venous catheter or peripherally
* Dress code requires solid colored scrubs in Navy, Lavender, Pink, Black, or Teal

This facility is a well-established medical center housing a specialized Gynecologic Oncology Infusion unit dedicated to providing high-quality chemotherapy and infusion services to patients. The unit operates within a modern clinical environment equipped with Alaris Pumps and the MediTech Expanse documentation system, ensuring efficient and accurate patient care. The facility emphasizes a structured and supportive work environment with clear floating policies and a consistent weekday schedule.
