Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg

Job Details:

* Work 3 days per week with every other weekend required
* Float between MS2 and MS3 units as needed
* Patient ratio of 5:1
* 27 beds on each floor
* Unit secretaries available during day shift and techs available on all shifts
* Perform blood transfusions, IV and central line maintenance
* Work with Computer on Wheels, Pyxis, and Welch Allen vital sign machines
* Document using Meditech Expanse system
* Must have basic Med/Surg experience with post-op patients, especially orthopedic
* Required certification: BLS
* ACLS preferred but not required
* Required dress code: Dark blue scrubs

Facility:

This facility operates two medical/surgical units, MS2 and MS3, each equipped with 27 beds and designed to provide comprehensive inpatient care. The units are staffed with unit secretaries during day shifts and technicians across all shifts to support nursing staff. The facility utilizes modern technology including Computer on Wheels, Pyxis medication dispensing systems, and Welch Allen vital sign machines, alongside the Meditech Expanse documentation system to ensure efficient and high-quality patient care.
