Opportunity:

RN - Pediatric Oncology

Job Details:

* 8-hour day shifts
* Ability to float to other facilities within a 75+ mile radius as needed
* Perform case management and patient care coordination duties
* Assist providers in ordering and obtaining lab and other results
* Triage patient calls and answer phones, emails, and other communications
* Address patient care needs across a range of age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, and adults
* Administer chemotherapy and monitor chemotherapy protocols
* Apply neutropenic precautions and infection prevention practices
* Support bone marrow transplant patients and manage symptom care
* Charting via Epic (required)
* Required certifications: California RN License, AHA BLS, BSN required
* 1 year of pediatric oncology experience required
* APHON certification preferred
* Teaching hospital experience required
* 2 references from most recent employer required
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams
