Job Details:

* 13-week contract with variable shift scheduling
* Shift start times may vary: 7:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, or 3:00 PM
* Weekend work required per needs of unit
* May need to cover one night shift within contract as needed
* Call required per needs of unit
* Float required between Queen, Petaluma Valley, and Healdsburg facilities
* Minimum 3 years of experience required; 5 years preferred
* Travel experience required
* Minimum 1 year of experience required at submission
* Trauma Level I experience is a hard stop requirement
* Hard stop experience required in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Robotics, and Trauma
* Patient diagnoses include Orthopedics (total joints and ortho trauma), Neurosurgery, Vascular, Robotics, General, GU, and GYN
* Serves patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Daily census of 25 patients across 8 rooms
* Required skills include Case Cart, Crash Cart, and Scrub techniques
* Preferred skills include Craniotomy and Airway Management
* Required equipment experience: Microscope, Laparoscopic camera and tower equipment, Arthroscope equipment
* Preferred equipment experience: Stealth Navigation Station, daVinci Xi Surgical System
* Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, CST, NBSTSA
* Scrubs or business casual attire required
* California state license preferred; pending license accepted
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
* RTO restricted to no more than 7 days; all RTO requests must be submitted upfront during submittal
* 40 orientation hours required
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
* Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
