Opportunity:

RN - Postpartum

Job Details:

* Assignment length of 13 or 26 weeks at traveler's choice
* Schedule of 3x12s or 4x12s at traveler's choice
* 6 weekend days required per contract
* Float required between Issaquah Campus (Postpartum) and Edmonds Campus (Postpartum), as well as Labor and Delivery for 2nd hour of recovery
* Minimum 2 years of experience required with high acuity postpartum experience
* Must be able to handle census surge and manage a 4th couplet when needed
* Standard patient load is 4 couplets
* Required clinical skills and experience include: High Risk Obstetric care, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Pitocin (oxytocin), Foley catheter, Postpartum hemorrhage management, Substance withdrawal, Cesarean section care, Episiotomy/incision care, Fundus/lochia/perineum care, and Vaginal delivery
* JADA experience preferred
* EPIC experience required - hard stop
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP
* Compact nursing license must be in hand at time of submission
* Patients served include infants and adults
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during submittal
* Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities - refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours

Facility:

This is a large volume, high census facility specializing in High Risk Obstetric care with a diverse patient population. The unit features 57 beds and rooms with a daily census of 45 patients. Comprehensive interdisciplinary support is available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretarial support.
