Job Details:

* Work 36 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
* Provide medical nutrition therapy in an outpatient clinic setting
* See approximately 8 patients per day with a daily census of 8
* Work with adult patient populations
* Experience providing medical nutrition therapy in an acute care hospital or facility preferred
* Experience providing, managing, coordinating, or supervising patient nutrition care in an outpatient facility and/or with bariatric patients preferred
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Travel experience required
* Epic charting experience required (hard-stop requirement)
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
* Licensed Dietitian credential required
* Bachelor's Degree required (if RD credential acquired before 01/01/2024) or Master's Degree required (if RD credential acquired after 01/01/2024)
* Completion of an ACEND-approved Dietetic Internship or equivalent program required
* Required certifications: BLS, RD/RDN
* Proficiency in skills including adult outpatient/clinic care, calorie counts, dietary guidelines, enteral nutrition (tube feedings), fluid balance, malabsorption syndromes, morbid obesity, nutrient deficiencies, nutrition assessments/reassessments, nutrition therapy complications, and post-op gastric bypass
* Must demonstrate understanding of current medical nutrition therapy standards for a variety of patient populations
* Strong verbal and written communication skills required
* Ability to work independently with limited supervision
* Must be able to work efficiently in an environment with multiple demands and short time frames
* Interpretation services available as interdisciplinary support
* May be required to float within the facility or to nearby affiliated facilities
