Opportunity:
Cardiac Device RN
Job Details:
* Clinic hours Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with staggered start times (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM) consisting of 5 eight-hour shifts
* No weekend or holiday requirements
* No on-call or standby requirement
* Outpatient clinic and peri-operative management for inpatient setting
* Work alongside 1-3 EP Physicians and 1-4 EP APPs daily
* Workload varies day-to-day covering planned clinic visits, peri-operative management, remote monitoring, and device consults
* Perform device management, post-operative wound checks, and remote monitoring of cardiac devices
* Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team
* Work with device types including Boston Scientific, Medtronic, Abbott, and Biotronik
* Travel between Tacoma and Gig Harbor outpatient clinic locations required
* A permanent staff member will always be available for support
* Charting systems include Epic and Vector Device Management System (training provided on Vector)
* Scrubs required with no color preference
* 2-5 days of general orientation including Epic, followed by 1-5 days with a preceptor
* Must have Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) certification
* Certified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS) certification preferred
* BLS certification required
* BSN not required
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics

The clinic maintains a collaborative and supportive environment with approachable physicians and APPs, as well as device representatives readily available for additional support. The facility utilizes Epic for electronic medical records and Vector for device management, and is committed to supporting its clinical staff through comprehensive orientation and ongoing mentorship.
