Job Details:
* 8-hour day shifts starting at 8:00 AM
* 2 weekend shifts required per month
* First to float when needed
* Primarily working in skilled nursing facility with training to float to inpatient acute care hospital on the same campus
* Inpatient setting only
* Treat 8-9 patients per day in a post-acute care setting
* Cover stations A, B, C, and D
* Floor-specific orientation provided
* Common diagnoses include total joint replacements, stroke, deconditioning, pneumonia, balance difficulties, CVA, TKA, THA, COPD, and general medical conditions in geriatric patients
* Must be able to work independently and perform transfers
* Excellent communication skills required with ability to work closely with interdisciplinary team
* Burgundy scrubs required
* Charting system: Cerner
* New graduates with a minimum of 6 months experience in acute care or skilled nursing will be considered, with skilled nursing experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
* California PT license required
* 2 supervisory references from submitting modality required at submittal (charge accepted); 1 within 12 months and 1 within 3 years worked
