Opportunity:
CT/XRAY Tech
Job Details:
* Night shift position working Monday through Thursday from 7:30 PM to 8:00 AM with a 30-minute lunch break at approximately 11:30 PM
* Block schedule required Monday through Thursday
* 48-hour weeks approved
* No on-call required
* No weekends required
* After midnight, technologist will be the sole tech on shift performing both CT and X-ray procedures
* Position performs both CT and X-ray imaging - not limited to CT only
* 1:1 patient ratio
* Serves patient age groups including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* At least 1 year of experience required
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS
* Epic charting system experience required
* Scrub color: any color accepted
* Required skills include CT and X-ray procedures such as abdomen without and/or with contrast, chest without and/or with contrast, head without and/or with contrast, pelvis without and/or with contrast, multiplanar reconstruction, vascular CTA, musculoskeletal trauma, preparation and/or administration of contrast media, radiation safety, venipuncture, starting peripheral IVs, and PACS
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility
Facility:
This short-term acute care facility is a Level III Trauma Center with 104 total staffed beds. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and offers interpretation services as interdisciplinary support. The facility maintains a daily census of approximately 50 patients with around 55 visits per day, providing care across a broad range of patient populations and acuity levels.
