Job Details:

* 3x12 day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
* Patient ratio of 1:6 on days, nights, and weekends
* Every other weekend required - non-negotiable
* No on-call required
* Floating within scope required as needed by the facility
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* 24/7 house supervisor coverage available
* 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
* Required experience: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Interpretation of Dysrhythmias, Telemetry on-unit monitoring
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Scrub color: Royal Blue
* No parking cost
* Block schedule may be requested prior to assignment but is not guaranteed
* Locals within 60-mile radius accepted
* Interdisciplinary support includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
* Common patient diagnoses include diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease, ESRD, chronic respiratory illnesses, and arrhythmias
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams, with peak activity in August and September

Facility:

This is an acute care hospital with 286 total staffed beds, offering a full range of medical services to its community. The Medical Surgical Telemetry unit is a newer unit currently housing 18 beds with bedside monitors capable of telemetry, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry monitoring. The unit operates with 24/7 house supervisor coverage and leadership available by phone during off-shift hours, ensuring ongoing support for clinical staff.
