Open Position: RN - PACU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2064.40

Opportunity:

SEASONAL - TRAVEL - RN - PACU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
* Float between multiple PACU units including Main/Surgical Robotics and Orthopedic Surgery Center
* Patient ratio of 1 RN to 2 patients, with same day surgery patients having up to 3 at a time, staffed per ASPAN standards
* Night shift consists of 2 RNs on duty
* Perform pre-op and recovery care for any patient who receives anesthesia
* High neuro volume including stroke patients, interventional radiology, TAVRs, and critical care overflow
* Surgical cases include spine, general, GI, colorectal, total joints, GYN, and robotics
* Work with GE Monitors and Meditech EMR system
* Minimum 1 year of current hospital PACU experience required
* Required certifications: PALS, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Stroke care experience preferred
* Critical care experience and/or additional PACU experience preferred
* Flexible and outgoing personality preferred

This facility features a comprehensive PACU environment with a total of 59 bays across three units, combining Pre-Op and PACU services. The facility maintains high standards of patient care with approximately 70 staff members and boasts a 91% employee satisfaction rate. The unit is equipped with modern technology including GE Monitors and Meditech EMR, and handles a diverse range of surgical and procedural cases in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
