Job Details:
* 13-week contract
* 4x10 shift schedule
* Every 5th weekend shift required
* Call required every 4th weekend and an average of 2 call shifts per week (call requirements are fluid and dependent on department staffing)
* 10-15 cases per day
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Cases include CAD, PAD, STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiac arrhythmias, and neuro (stroke)
* Required skills include: angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, carotid angiography, diagnostic cardiac cath lab, diagnostic catheterizations (adult), electrophysiology (EP) lab, embolization, fluoroscopy, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, interventional cardiac cath lab, left heart catheterization, pacemaker insertion, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA), permanent pacemaker insertion (PPI), prep access site, right heart catheterization, scrub procedures, sterile technique, temporary pacemaker, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, and vascular closure systems
* Equipment experience preferred: GE Innova IGS, Philips
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT or CCI RCIS
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Active NJ or Compact license required prior to start
* Holiday policy requires working 2 of the 3 winter holidays
* First-time travelers and local candidates accepted
