Interventional Radiology / Cardiac Cath Lab
Job Details:
* Monday through Friday shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
* 3 call shifts required in every two-week period
* Call hours Monday through Friday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Weekend call required every 6 weeks, covering Friday 4:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM
* No scrub required
* Average daily census of 15 patients across 3 rooms
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* 3 years of experience required (hard stop)
* Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required
* Trauma Level II experience preferred
* First-time travelers accepted
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, CCI RCIS, Fluoro Permit, CA CRRT State License
* California CLS license must be in hand at time of submission (hard stop - no pending licenses accepted)
* Required skills include: fluoroscopy, hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac catheterization (left and right heart), percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), PTCA, TAVR, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, permanent pacemaker insertion, angioplasty, angiography, embolization, endovascular interventions, TIPS, IVC filter placement and removal, central venous access, PICC line care, chest tube placement, stent placement, and additional interventional radiology procedures
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* Maximum of 7 days of pre-approved time off
* Travelers may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities; refusal to float may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years, completed during compliance process prior to start

This facility specializes in cardiac intervention and interventional radiology, including structural heart procedures. The unit operates across 3 dedicated procedure rooms with an average daily census of 15 patients. The facility offers robust interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretarial support, ensuring a comprehensive and collaborative care environment.
