Open Position: PT - Physical Therapist

Job Details:

* Work 4x9 hour shifts and 1x4 hour shift schedule preferred
* Implement patient rehabilitation programs to improve mobility, function, and strength
* Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs
* Utilize Electronic Medical Record to complete evaluations, reports and discharge summaries
* Guide and monitor patient care in all aspects of treatment and follow-up
* Supervise PT Assistants and Aides regarding all aspects of patient care
* Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
* Maintain accurate patient chart documentation and follow-up regarding prescriptions, test results, and authorizations
* Work closely with front office staff regarding scheduling and patient follow-up
* Must have computer skills necessary for job requirements including typing, Word, Internet, and EMR
* Make independent decisions regarding patient care
* Be involved in business marketing and referral process when necessary
* Must be proficient in diagnosis and ICD-10 coding for billing services
* Physical requirements include combination of sitting, walking, and prolonged standing for 8-10 hour work days
* Must be able to lift 50 pounds and assist with patient mobility, transfers, and walking safety
* Required to hold active Physical Therapy license in California
* Degree in Physical Therapy required
* Must comply with HIPAA policies and protect patient privacy
* Expected to participate in company privacy training
* Work in outpatient rehabilitation clinic setting
