House Sup/Bed Placement RN Coordinator

Job Details:

* Serve as a Bed Placement RN Coordinator functioning within the Admit/Transfer Center
* This is a no patient contact position working closely with the house supervisor
* Flexible shift lengths of 10 or 12 hours available
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* No floating between units
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a house supervisor or in a transfer center required
* Experience required in: intake, bed control, transfers, and bed placement
* Relevant skills include: crisis intervention/management, emergency department, emergency preparedness, facility/bed diversion, ICU, inpatient acute care, MS/Tele, new admissions, organizational escalation processes, pediatrics, post procedures, post surgery, and transfer to higher level of care
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Washington RN license required
* Scrub color: Any color
* No parking fee

This is a large short-term acute care facility operating as both a Level II Trauma Center and a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 629 total staffed beds. As a teaching hospital, the facility supports a wide range of patient populations including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support services include interpretation services and social services, reflecting the facility's commitment to comprehensive, patient-centered care.
