Open Position: RN - Med Surg Tele

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2141.32

Opportunity:

MS/Tele RN

Job Details:

* 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Every other weekend required, sometimes every third weekend
* Block scheduling available
* No floating required
* Patient ratio of 1:5 on nights and weekends
* Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
* Manage patients with diagnoses including CHF, diabetes, orthopedic conditions, chest pain, pneumonia, and COPD
* Administer and titrate insulin drips and Cardizem drips
* No ventilator management required
* Required skills include blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, chest tube management, feeding tube care, heparin protocols, high flow nasal cannula, ABG interpretation, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV insulin protocols, PICC line management, wound care, and total joint replacement care
* Proficiency with Pyxis and EPIC required
* Hunter green scrubs required
* Free parking available
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA preferred)
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Michigan nursing license must be active by start date; compact license not accepted
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of profile submission
* Maximum of 5 days RTO per contract

Facility:

This acute care hospital provides comprehensive inpatient medical services with a strong interdisciplinary support team including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretarial support. The facility maintains a focused medical-surgical and telemetry unit with a daily census of 10 to 12 patients, offering a collaborative and well-supported environment for nursing professionals.
