1ST TIMER -TX LIC Radiation Therapist - Req 10480*0

Job Details:

* Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Fridays 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
* No on-call required
* No weekends required
* No block schedules required
* Patient ratio of 20 patients per Radiation Therapist
* Patient population is primarily adults, not pediatric patients
* Daily census of approximately 45 patients
* Rotate amongst all treatment modalities and equipment, including simulation with contrast orders and motion management orders
* Robust program offering brachytherapy, EBRT, SBRT, SRS, and FSRT on Gamma Knife treatment modalities
* Equipment includes Elekta Linear Accelerators (Infinity and VersaHD), Gamma Knife ICON, HDR Flexitron, C-arm fluoroscopy, and GE Discovery CT/Simulator
* Utilize Elekta Mosaiq Record and Verify System with Epic electronic medical record
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS, TMB License
* Required skills include: Adult Outpatient, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, CT Simulation, Custom Molds, Electron Beam Therapy, Elekta Infinity, Elekta Versa HD, External Beam Therapy, Gamma Knife radiosurgery, HexaPOD, IMRT, Radiation Safety, and Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS)
* Scrub color: Galaxy Blue/Royal Blue for Radiation Therapists
* Free parking available in any unrestricted space

This is a specialized cancer research and treatment center offering a comprehensive and robust radiation therapy program. The facility is accredited under several quality and safety programs and operates with a collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment. The department features advanced treatment modalities and state-of-the-art equipment, with seven full-time Radiation Therapists who rotate weekend and holiday call for true oncologic emergencies. The facility prides itself on excellent providers and a great team environment.
