Job Details:
* On-call required once per week and once per weekend on a 6-week schedule
* Weekends required for on-call only
* Block schedules are not required
* Expected patient ratio of 1:1
* Must be able to scrub all cardiac procedures
* Washington state license must be in hand at time of submission
* Minimum of 2 years of experience required
* Cardiac experience is a hard stop requirement and must be recent
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, NBSTSA, ASATT, Washington Registration
* Required skills include: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aseptic Technique, Atherectomy, Atrial Septal Defect repair, Cardiomyoplasty, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), CVOR, ECMO insertion/decannulation, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR), Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Lung resection - Thoracotomy, Mitral valve replacement, Pericardial window, and VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery)
* Procedures performed include everything from basic CABG to Robotic Mitral Valve repair, pediatric congenital heart cases, and TAVRs
* Scrub color: Any color
* No parking fee
Facility:
This is a short-term acute care facility operating as both a Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 629 total staffed beds. The facility is a teaching hospital featuring a highly specialized Cardiothoracic and Vascular operating room, offering advanced procedures including robotic surgery and pediatric congenital heart care. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and is equipped to handle a wide range of complex cardiac and vascular cases.
