Opportunity:
Family Medicine MA-C
Job Details:
* 13-week contract with temp-to-hire opportunity
* Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (no weekends)
* No on-call requirements
* No weekend requirements
* May float between Central Seattle clinic and Downtown Seattle clinic depending on staffing needs
* Work in a team-based approach where MA-to-clinician ratios may vary (e.g., 1:1 or 2:3)
* Fast-paced clinic environment serving adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* At least 6 months of experience as a Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) required
* OB experience preferred; Family Medicine, Adult, or Pediatric Outpatient setting experience required
* EPIC charting experience required
* Scrub color: Any color
* Required certifications: BLS, CMA
* Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C); MA-R, MA-P, and MA-HT credentials are not eligible
* Must be open and willing to convert to a permanent position at the end of the contract
* Must reside within 30 miles of the clinic
* Key skills include rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, administering medications, immunizations, EKG/ECG, phlebotomy, urine analysis, telephone triage, and chart preparation
