Open Position: RN - Outpatient Clinic

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2402.20

Opportunity:

RN - Neurology

Job Details:

* 5 x 8-hour day shifts per week
* No weekend requirement
* No on-call requirement
* Float within skillset as needed
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: BLS, WA or Compact RN license (compact license must be in hand at submission)
* Charting system experience required; EPIC used at facility
* Manage Epic nurse in-boxes and work queues
* Triage and respond to patient phone calls and MyChart messages
* Process medication refill requests and route for provider signature as needed
* Manage and coordinate lab orders, imaging orders, and results
* Support high acuity neurology patients including infusion-related coordination
* Transcribe and document voicemail messages into Epic
* Process inbound clinical faxes requiring provider review or signature
* Abstract and enter labs including genetic testing results
* Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation
* Support patient safety and continuity of care across assigned providers
* Skills required include telephone triage, medication reconciliation, venipuncture/phlebotomy, specimen labeling, vital signs, and pharmacy/patient refill requests

Facility:

This outpatient neurology facility is focused on treating patients with a variety of neurological illnesses, including traumatic brain injury, stroke, CVA, and substance abuse. The facility provides a specialized care environment requiring nurses who are well-rounded, patient, and understanding of the unique nature of neurological conditions. The organization utilizes EPIC as its primary charting system and is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered neurological care.
