Opportunity:
Pediatric Cath Lab Rad Tech
Job Details:
* Day shift, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* On-call required: 8-10 call shifts per month, including weekend coverage
* 2 Cath Lab rooms
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Experience with Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab preferred; EP experience preferred
* Required case experience: Pediatric/Adult Transplant, Right/Left Heart Biopsy, Balloon, Stent, and Valve Placement; IR experience (preferably pediatric) may also be required
* Patient diagnoses include congenital heart patients, heart cath procedures, pediatric/adult transplant, biopsy, balloon and stents, and valve replacements
* Required skills: Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult and Pediatric/Neonatal), Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI)
* Required certifications: PALS, BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association only); CCI with RCIS/RCES preferred; ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) also acceptable
* Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
* Charting system: EPIC
* Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called-off hours can be broken down to equal 1 shift
* Locals accepted on a case-by-case basis within a 60-mile radius
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of candidate submission
* Travelers should be aware that all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November), with peak activity in August and September

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, and Magnet Hospital with 865 total staffed beds. The organization provides advanced cardiac and interventional services, including a dedicated Pediatric Cath Lab, supporting a wide range of complex procedures for both pediatric and adult patient populations. The facility utilizes EPIC for charting and maintains high standards of care across its specialized departments.
