Open Position: RAD Tech - Cath Lab

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

* Day shift schedule, 5 x 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday with a 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM start time ending at 3:30 PM or 4:30 PM
* On-call required 2 days per week and 1-2 weekends per month
* Minimum 5 years of experience in cardiac catheterization required
* Must have experience with scrubbing and monitoring structural heart, vascular, diagnostic, Impella, ECMO, and emergent cath cases
* EPIC experience required
* Assists physicians with invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures for cardiovascular and pulmonary systems
* Operates special procedure equipment including C-Arm, angiographic injectors, and associated patient monitoring equipment
* Monitors, records, and evaluates patient vital signs throughout procedures
* Maintains proper sterile and aseptic techniques; adheres to infection control procedures
* Provides radiation protection to patients in accordance with prescribed radiation safety standards
* Operates, records, and maintains physiologic equipment in accordance with established cardiovascular procedures
* Assists Cardiologist and/or Radiologist during special procedures and administration of contrast media
* Performs simple troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on equipment
* Required certifications: ARRT-R, current California Fluoroscopy license, BLS (AHA)
* Current Radiologic Tech (RT) state license required
* Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience preferred
