Open Position: OT - Therapy Rehab Acute Care

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2464.00

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday, 5x8 day shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* Weekend rotation required every 6th full weekend with shift hours of 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
* Receive a day off during the week prior to the Saturday shift and the week after the Sunday shift
* No on-call required
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week
* Float between Progress West and St. Peters locations may be required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Travel experience required
* Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
* Required certifications: BLS and state license
* Pending state license accepted
* Adult care experience required
* Adaptive equipment experience required
* Experience with hip fracture, total hip replacement, and knee injuries/total knee replacement required
* Skills required: lifting/transfer, patient/family education, safety/injury prevention, telephone calls, and documentation
* Additional preferred skills: CVA rehabilitation, Parkinson's disease, discharge planning, evaluation, and assessment
* Patient age groups served: adults and geriatrics
* Patient diagnoses include ortho, neuro, ICU, tele, and med-surg
* Scrub color: black scrub top, tan scrub or dress pants
* EPIC charting system experience preferred
* Lift equipment available on-site

Facility:

This short-term acute care facility operates with 69 staffed beds and utilizes EPIC as its primary charting system. The facility provides care across a broad range of specialties including orthopedics, neurology, ICU, telemetry, and medical-surgical units. Staff have access to lift equipment to support safe patient handling, and free parking is available in designated employee parking areas.
