RRT NICU
Job Details:
* Variable shift scheduling - manager makes every effort to keep agency staff on a consistent shift (either days or nights) for the duration of the 13-week contract, with exact assignment typically confirmed one to two weeks in advance
* Every other weekend required per CBA
* No on-call required
* Float required internally between departments - must be flexible
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Ratios based on hospital acuity
* NICU III or IV level experience is a hard stop requirement
* Level 3 NICU and Level 2 Adult ICU experience required
* Neuro Trauma ICU experience required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Washington state license must be in hand at time of submission
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, PALS, RRT
* Required skills include: Adult Critical Care, ARDS, BiPAP, Bronchoscopy, Bubble CPAP, CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BiPAP, Direct Intubation (Neonatal), Drawing Arterial Blood Gases, ET Tube, Extubation, Fresh Tracheostomy, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), High Frequency Jet Ventilator, High Frequency Oscillator, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Intubation Assist, NICU, Nitric Oxide (INo), Oral/Nasal Suctioning, Oscillating Ventilator, Pressure/Volume Ventilator, Pulmonary Hygiene, Sputum Specimen Collection, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Tracheostomy Care/Management, Umbilical Blood Gases, and Weaning from Mechanical Ventilation
* Highly preferred experience with Bunnell Jet Ventilation in NICU
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
* All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during submittal
Facility:
This healthcare facility is a large inpatient organization with 337 beds and a daily census of 300 patients. The facility operates a Level 3 NICU and Level 2 Adult ICU and provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary services. The facility is well-equipped to handle a wide range of complex patient diagnoses and high-acuity care needs.
