Open Position: Pharmacist - Pharmacist Inpatient

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $3495.20

Job Details:

* Work four 10-hour shifts per week totaling 40 hours
* Shifts may include weekdays and weekends depending on weekly schedule
* Pharmacy hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday through Sunday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
* Must be available for on-call coverage after pharmacy hours
* On-call requirement is typically 3 to 4 nights per week, generally on nights following shifts worked
* On-call responsibility is divided between two pharmacists
* ER is on auto verify for most medications
* Support a small outpatient infusion clinic averaging 1 antibiotic infusion per day
* Attend a 10:00 AM inpatient care plan meeting daily
* Inpatient and ER average 1,200 pharmacy orders per month
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Travel experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted
* Required certifications: NM Board of Pharmacy License, Registered Pharmacist with Bachelor's degree
* New Mexico license required (profiles may be submitted pending NM license)

Facility:

This facility is a community hospital offering a range of inpatient and outpatient services, including an emergency room, inpatient pharmacy services, and a small outpatient infusion clinic. The pharmacy team plays an integral role in interdisciplinary patient care, participating in daily care plan meetings and supporting both inpatient and emergency department medication management. The organization maintains a collaborative care environment with structured pharmacy operations across multiple service lines.
